Rewriting normally means: copy the text, open a browser tab, paste it, write a prompt, wait, copy the answer, switch back, paste. Seven steps, every single time, and you lose your train of thought in the middle.
aiCat collapses that to two: select, press. The rewritten version appears over your text with an Apply button that puts it back where it came from.
Rewrite, step by step
- Select the sentence where it already isAn email, a code review, a CMS field, a PDF comment. It does not have to move anywhere.
- Press Option+AAlt+A on Windows and Linux, or click the 🐱 circle beside your cursor. Every mistake comes back listed separately with a short reason.

Why a rewrite costs almost nothing
A rewrite is the cheapest thing aiCat does: a short request, routed to the cheapest model that is good enough rather than to a frontier reasoning model. That routing is most of the difference between a plan starting from $6 and one starting from $20.
